Since I was a kid, I watched the anime adaptation of one of the big trading card games called Yu-Gi-Oh. Each iteration of the show takes place in a version of Earth where the most popular game was “Duel Monsters” (the anime name of Yugioh), and there’s a young Duelist (Duel Monsters player) who overcomes any obstacle that gets in his way, with the help of his friends. Over the years, as I started to play yugioh, I began to notice that Konami (the company that created Yu-Gi-Oh), had millions of fan submissions for card ideas, but only 16 were ever made. Soon I decided to not only create my own ideas for cards, but to also get them submitted to Konami, to give those fans hope. So I drew card after card for already introduced archetypes or new ones that are either combinations of old ones or retrains of them, hoping to make them official one day. At this moment, I have about 400-500 card ideas already made and 10 drafts for story ideas for my cards (which I’ve only started work on recently). I hope that you can see the value of my ideas for this game, to take it to new heights, if possible.
